Roman Žitňanský is an architect and urban planner. He worked in Barcelona, ​​as an architect focused on public buildings projects. In 2012, he co-founded 2+2 ARCHITECTURE studio, where he won several awards at international architectural and urban planning competitions. In Slovakia, he collaborated with renowned architectural studios (Gut Gut, Vallo Sadovsky, Compass, Marko and placemakers) on interdisciplinary projects and competitions. He is laureate of the ARCH 2019 award. Since 2019, he has been working for the Metropolitan Institute of Bratislava as a director of the Public Spaces Department.

Head of Division of planning and environment department of Regional development of Košice self-governing region Peter Serfözö has a university degree in architecture and urbanism at Technical university in Košice and Politecnico di Milano. He has 10+ years of experience in designing investment projects, elaboration of zoning plans and their amendments. At the moment he works as head of Division of planning and environment department of Regional development of Košice self-governing region, working mostly on digitizing regional spatial planning and turning the form from forecasting to GIS analysis.

Xiaochen Che (1987, China), project architect at MVSA in Amsterdam, licensed Dutch urbanist, is born in a city in the northwest of China. Master degree of Architecture at the TU Delft and specialized in Urbanism and urban regeneration. With academic background in urban planning and practical architectural knowledge learned from multiple Dutch practices, she has been developing herself into an all-round architect in the past 10 years while undertaking different projects, varying from large-scale urban studies to technical level of designing a façade detail.
Since 2016, Xiaochen Che works at MVSA. Highly experienced in complex architectural projects like mix-use urban development (Plesman Plaza, Amsterdam, NL), office campus design (Park 20|20, Hoofddorp, NL), office complex (Amstelvista, Amsterdam, NL), and
pioneering housing complex design (Hyde Park, Hoofddorp, NL)

Huub de With is driven architect on sustainable processes, who shows great involvement in every design.

As an architect, he has experiences with complex projects on various scales in which infrastructure,
technology, logistics and architecture are combined into a clear storyline. Involved from the first sketch until the last details, Huub characterizes his designs by a functional, sculptural and outspoken design.
On behalf of MVSA Architects, Huub is responsible for Berghaus Plaza where he is involved from the first sketch design in 2017 until present. The project has a total investment of 130 million euro’s and consists of a 60.000 m 2 mixed-used program of living, working, retail and underground parking area. Huub is conjunctly responsible for numerous utility and transformation projects such as the Escher Museum in The Hague, the transformation of the Prinsengracht Hospital in Amsterdam, the new head office for PVH (Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger) in Amsterdam, and large-scale residential construction in Amersfoort and Eindhoven.

Award-winning designer with publications in Wired, Dezeen and several international books on design, whose creations have been for sale at MoMA and Tate Modern. After a career as a designer and creative director at Philips Design, he founded his own studio in 2010, working for clients such as Bose, Frog and Ultimaker. The looming climate crisis was his motivation to, with co-founder Ceren Bagatar, transition his studio to Kode21, a pioneering consultancy that is primarily focused on using climate solutions as a starting point for design, innovation and strategy.

Osamu Okamura is an architect, a Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Architecture at the Technical University of Liberec, and a member of the Prague City Council Committee for Art in Public Spaces. He served as a member of the Committee for Development of Urbanism, Architecture and Public Spaces of the Prague 7 District Council and worked as a juror in numerous architecture and urbanism competitions, including Kosice Airport Logistic Park Development Plan, Prague Airport Development Plan, Papirove Square in Liberec Development Plan, New Praha Rohan Elementary School etc. He curated the Shared Cities: Creative Momentum project, and directed a programme of reSITE, an international festival and conference on more liveable cities. His book City for Everyone: A Manual of Urbanism for Beginners, published by Labyrint and illustrated by David Böhm and Jiří Franta, was awarded the DAM Architectural Book Award 2022 and the Bologna Ragazzi: New Horizons 2021 award. Okamura was nominated as the 2014 New Europe 100 outstanding challenger from Central and Eastern Europe by Res Publica with Google and the Visegrad Fund in cooperation with the Financial Times.
